The NEW AxiTone EC fan ... ideal for noise-sensitive applications
Are you trying to identify the right axial fan for your project? Do you need a notably quiet fan that isn’t going to make a right old racket? Assuming so, we heartily recommend the new three-blade AxiTone EC fan from ebm-papst. It has been designed as a ready-to-install solution for use in air-water heat pumps and condensers, and in other applications that warrant a quiet fan.
How is it so quiet, we hear you ask (no pun intended) … well, the blade design improves aerodynamics, with the added benefit of reduced power consumption. You can read more about the blade specifics in the Info Sheet (downloadable below).
Furthermore, the fan is driven by an EC motor (as opposed to the better-known AC motor). An EC motor is more efficient, generates less waste heat (a key consideration in HVAC, you’ll agree), and significantly reduces energy consumption. Fan-tastic! (Groan.)
