To help sustain its continued growth, we are looking to recruit a dynamic and motivated Internal Sales Executive.

Summary

Permanent Role – Monday to Friday – 37.5 hours per week

We are looking for a Business Development Sales Executive to join our successful team based out of our Theale Office in Berkshire.

– No Bank Holiday working required

As a Business Development Sales Executive, you will be the key connection between your allocated customer accounts and customers that you are supporting.

You will be expected to proactively grow existing accounts whilst bringing in new business prospects to ensure you meet and exceed your monthly sales targets & KPI’s.

– Knowledge and relationships with potential customers in our markets is desired
– Knowledge and understanding of our products and applications would be advantageous

The Role

– To establish, develop and maintain credible relationships with existing Customers and new Prospects generated
– Implement a sales plan in order to provide effective and tailored account management for both allocated and prospect accounts
– Monitor your allocated accounts to ensure effective performance and growth
– Ensure achievement of all relevant KPIs, targets and objectives
– Identify and action appropriate steps to rectify any shortfalls
– Increase revenue opportunities by offering a variety of service provisions e.g. project and other specialist services available from the company
– Completion and utilisation of CRM system to enable effective analysis of own activity and understand performance
– Maintain completion of systems to provide required reports, information and feedback, in agreed formats and within timeframes set by management

– To have had experience of working in a fast-paced role, whilst maintaining a consistent eye for detail
– A flexible approach and an ability to work under pressure
– An ability to embrace change and new technologies
– Experience of working within a sales / target-driven role
– Ability to take initiative and be able to work with minimal supervision

You must have:

– A technical or other suitable qualification, preferably to HNC level
– Experience of selling connectors/components
– Excellent communication skills (including persuasion and influencing)
– Good relationship building skills
– Previous sales experience and a proven track record of continuous achievement
– Intermediate IT skills (i.e., Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
– Commercial awareness of factors affecting the profitability of a company
– Strategic prospecting and objection management skills
– Good organisation, planning and time management skills
– Technical competence related to electronics and associated products
– Full driving licence
– Knowledge of and relationship with potential customers in our market areas
– Knowledge and understanding of our main products and applications
– Unrestricted right to work in the UK
