Inelco Hunter has announced the availability of the three-blade AxiTone EC axial fan from EBM. Designed specifically for use in air/water heat pumps or condensers, as well as in applications where flammable refrigerants are present, the AxiTone EC also has optimised blade geometry, which makes the fans notably quiet.
The fans are supplied as a ready-to-install plug and play solution, including a nozzle plate and a FlowGrid, eliminating any concerns about nozzles or being installed a safe distance from the impeller. This means that there is no need to conduct your own ErP assessment.
Increasingly lower energy consumption is required for devices for central residential ventilation and air conditioning, for switch cabinet cooling, and for use in heat pumps and air purifiers. The blade design improves aerodynamics and lowers the power consumption.
The newly developed inverter electronics make the fans suitable for speed-controlled permanent-magnet synchronous machines (PSM), which are typically used in compressors, e.g. in heat pumps. The ebm-papst commutation method, which has been optimised over decades, considerably reduces noise development and at the same time, increases efficiency.
Inelco Hunter’s in-depth engineering support ensures rapid implementation, speeding up the customer’s time-to-market. This added-value support is at the core of Inelco Hunter’s philosophy, and has been for the last 30 years, setting them apart from the “stock and ship” distributors.
