Amphenol created the XLR audio connector design back in 1995. Almost three decades later, the XLR series is the globally accepted standard in the audio industry. Available in a choice of ten bright colours, the AX sleeves can be supplied either factory pre-assembled, or in bulk for field assembly and marking.
XLR AX Series plug and socket connector features:
- ergonomic sleeve, designed for excellent grip
- chuck-type cable clamping to suit 3mm to 8mm cable outside diameters
- gold-plated contacts on plugs and sockets
- available in 3- to 7-pin configurations
Mini XLR connector features:
- gold-plated contacts
- available in 3- to 6-pin configurations
XLR ¼” Combo connector features:
- low profile or C-type profile
- ¼” chassis features vertical/horizontal gold or silver contacts
- ¼” chassis provides 360° grounding with a four-point rivet fixing
- available in nickel or black zinc housing
- available in 3A, 4A, 5A and 6A options
